Customer Service Representative:
$18 - $2?/hr plus full benefits, paid time off.

The ideal candidate UNDERSTANDS screen printing. They have worked in a shop and know how to talk to people about printing. They have a customer-first mindset and aim to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction.

We need someone with print shop experience. They must have an understanding of ink, process, garment brands, what shirts or items are trending, why red ink on a black shirt might need an underbase, what an underbase is … what it does, why someone would want a Gildan G500 vs. a Bella/Canvas 3001 - or why that's kind of a ridiculous thing to say.

CommonWealth Press is a Pittsburgh-based Union screen printing shop. We are looking for a customer service representative to join our team. This person’s main goal is to work with customers - fielding inquiries, and relaying extensive knowledge of the screenprinting process in a very easy to comprehend manner to help our customers place the most effective orders possible. We are located right off the south hills junction for easy public transportation access.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound customer communications

  • Answer incoming calls and emails to address customer questions, requests, and issues leading to a custom order.

  • Advise customers how to successfully leverage the product/printing based on their unique needs. Save our customers money, save us time, and make all of our lives easier.

  • Maintain working product knowledge - Act as a product expert to ensure information, pricing, and turnaround given to customers is accurate, up-to-date, and efficient.

  • Maintain relationships and manage communication - Remember/record customer  interactions, needs, solutions, and successes to help them with current and future orders. This is the core of strengthening our existing relationships and building new ones.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in supporting client success in the screen printing industry
